Hi, I’m a Washington, D.C. area Location Manager for film and television. Since 1998, I’ve worked with directors, producers, and creative teams to bring stories to life across the Washington region. From busy city streets and historic neighborhoods to quiet residential communities and hidden locations just outside the city, I help productions find the right place to tell their story.
Over the years I’ve developed extensive experience working with the National Park Service, Federal Government agencies, international embassies and governments, as well as state and local municipalities. Navigating the unique permitting and logistical challenges of filming in and around Washington, D.C. is a big part of what I do, and I enjoy helping productions make the process smooth and successful.
This site shares information about projects I’ve worked on, along with helpful resources related to the permitting process and filming in the region. My goal is to make it easier for filmmakers and production teams to understand how filming works in Washington and the surrounding areas.
You’ll also find a few personal and fun projects here as well. My kids and I host a small podcast that we make just for fun (don’t worry—the episodes are short!). And if you explore a bit, you may discover a few hidden games and tools tucked away around the site.
Thanks for visiting, and feel free to reach out if you’re planning a production in the Washington area.
